SQUASH Butternut
This is a very popular and wonderful tasting winter or storage squash. The oblong tan-skinned fruits grow up to about 7 in. long and are bulbed at one end. The seed cavity is small, so there’s lots of flesh with a sweet, nutty flavor. Excellent baked, steamed, or microwaved. Stores extremely well.
